The company has been working in the industry since 1972 and was the very first Norwegian owner to operate and build offshore service vessels in Norway for the North Sea. Since 1972 Uksnøy & Co AS has operated 12 different vessels within the industry and the company has traditionally always owned a relatively big part in the vessels.
During the years from 1978 through to 1982 Uksnøy & Co AS owned and operated the vessel "M/V Rig Tugger" on time charter for the Norwegian Coastguard.
After the period with vessel working offshore and in the coast guard, Uksnøy & Co AS has more concentrated on operating deep-sea seismic vessels and has obtained great experience in this specific segment of the offshore market.
